The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation allocates over 41 million rubles for amelioration of Tatarstan

The Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev signed the decree prepared by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation on the development of amelioration. To that effect 41.059 million rubles are allocated from the federal budget for Tatarstan in 2015

“We consider amelioration to be the key tool to increase the production capacity and, ultimately, the profitability of Russian agriculture. The federal support will be an incentive to attract additional investments into agriculture, as well as to solve the tasks of the government under the circumstances of import substitution”, noted Alexander Tkachev, the Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.

Subsidies are allocated to the regional budget of Tatarstan within the framework of the federal special purpose program on amelioration of agricultural lands for 2014-2020 according to several trends: construction, reconstruction, technical modernization, registration of property rights for abandoned melioration systems, agricultural amelioration of forests, plants, etc. The total amount of subsidies from the federal budget for regional budgets is 1.865 billion rubles.
