Top dressing has been carried out on 540,430 ha of lands in the republic

As of April 28, in the republic of Tatarstan 14,100 ha of lands have been sowed with spring wheat, where 12,000 ha have been sowed with spring grains including 10,100 ha with barley. The leaders in sowing are Nurlat (3,387,000 ha),Sarmanoe (2,900,000 ha) and Axnakayevo (1,730,000 ha) municipal districts.

Currently 310,700 ha with winter crops have been top-dressed, 229,600 ha with perennial grasses have been also top-dressed. In total the work has been done on 540,800 ha of lands (50%).

Incrustation of seeds keeps going on (159,900 tons or 46%).

Harrowing of winter crops and perennial grasses is going rather fast. In the republic harrowing of winter grasses has been fulfilled on 21,900 ha of lands, harrowing of perennial crops – on 188,500 ha.
