V International veterinarian congress “One world – one health”

Chief of the Main Veterinary Directorate of the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers Almaz Khisamutdinov, Chief Deputy of the Main Veterinary Directorate of the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers Airat Garaev, directors of local state veterinarian associations are taking part in the V International veterinarian congress “One world – one health” which takes place on April 22-24 in Moscow.

The Congress is the main event in the veterinarian sphere on the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union. The high status of the Congress is stipulated by the active state support and the participation of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance, main state veterinary inspectors from foreign countries and CIS countries, as well as owing to the high professional level of Russian and foreign speakers including scientists and representatives of veterinarian administrative bodies from over 20 countries.

Within the framework of the congress 4 main conferences are to be held, which will be devoted to the vital problems in the sphere of veterinary in industrial animal breeding, poultry breeding and swine rearing, as well as to the problems of food safety. Some information about the current situation concerning the most dangerous and economically important infectious diseases of animals and birds both in Russia and all over the world, as well as forecasts for epizootic in the nearest future will be presented at the conferences. Modern trends in the strategy to control diseases, to take measures providing veterinarian wealth of the country, including the issues of monitoring, immunologic prophylaxis, veterinarian sanitary and care, modernization of technological procedures, harmonization of interaction and cooperation among veterinarian practitioners, producers of animal breeding products and state administrative bodies in the sphere of veterinarian legislation and control will be also discussed.

Round table discussions within the framework of the congress will be devoted to the issues of extermination of some illnesses among animals (for example, African swine fever, aphthous fever, hydrophobia, dermatomycosis, etc.), as well as to the latest developments in the spheres of fodder production, genetics and selection, which are the main factors for successful animal breeding. For the first time one of the round table discussions will be devoted to aquacultute where the issues of veterinary and biological safety will be touched upon.
