Subsidies for support of beef cattle breeding

Today a round table discussion on the issues of federal subsidies for the beef cattle breeding support was held and chaired by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nazip Khazipov in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Representatives of big investment companies and enterprises in the sphere of beef cattle breeding and specialists of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan participated in the session.

During the session the issues of construction and reconstruction of feeding platforms with the aim to increase beef cattle population and meet production were discussed.

Deputy Minister Nazip Khazipov reported that financing from the federal budget is carried out within the framework of the special purpose regional economic program “Development of beef cattle breeding in the Republic of Tatarstan 2015-2017”. According to the program the beef cattle population should increase by 8,000 beats in 2015.

Chief of the Investment Policy and Special Purpose Programs Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Gafurov introduced new requirements of the program, the terms of financing and the documents necessary to receive subsidies in 2015 to the guests.

Chief of the Financing Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marsel Makhmutov noted that the subsidies were allocated on declarative basis and informed about the necessity to conclude an additional agreement with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Concluding the session, Nazip Khazipov noted that all directors should pay special attention to reports on beef cattle breeding and as soon as possible prepare projects and business plans on construction of feed platforms.
