Readiness for the sowing campaign was checked in districts of the republic

As per administrative order of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, on April 6-15, 2015, contests on readiness for spring field work among AIC organizations were held in all municipal districts of the republic.

There were committees with deputy ministers, chiefs of departments, specialists of mechanization and farming agriculture services of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as engineers of agricultural holding companies and specialists of lower organizations.

In majority of farm households repairing of drills and rippers has finished, Russian tractor fleet is almost ready both in farm households and firms of agricultural holding companies. Building block design is about to finish, checking and adjustment of seeding machines has started.

Good results in preparation to spring field work are in farm households of Aktanysh, Atnya, Baltasi, Buinsk, Drozhzhanoe, Saby, Aznakaevo, Tyulyachi, Nurlat and Kaibitsk municipal districts.

Farm households of the republic are provided with agricultural machinery and equipment for timely spring field work 2015. The performance potential of seeding machines is 100,000 ha per day, which enables to carry out the sowing campaign for 10-12 days. It is necessary to organize the effective usage of 585 wide-coverage sowing machines, 2,200 classic seeders and their round-the-clock double-shift performance.

As of April 10, 2015, the readiness of trucks is 99%, the agricultural machines fleet is almost ready, spare parts amounting to 1.2 billion rubles were bought (92%).
