The 8th session of the Russian-Hungarian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation

On April 9-10 2015 the 8th session of Russian-Hungarian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation takes place in Kazan. The Russian party of the Commission is headed by the Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Nikolai Fedorov, from Tatarstan the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov joins the Commission, the Hungarian party is presented by the Minister of Foreign Economic Relations and Foreign Affairs of Hungary Peter Sijyarto.

Within the framework of the meeting, on April 9 2015 a number of expert groups’ sessions on industry, transport and construction is to be held in “Korston”, as well as the work of the Commission Office to reconcile proposals for the final protocol.

On April 10 2015 a meeting is planned between the minister of foreign economic relations and foreign affairs of Hungary, co-chair of the Russian-Hungarian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation Peter Sijyarto and the interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov; a meeting between Hungarian, Russian and Tatar parties is also planned.

The ceremonial opening of the Hungarian Consulate General in Kazan as well as the exhibition of industrial and investment potential of the Republic of Tatarstan are also to be held in “Suvar Plaza” office center.

The exchange of information concerning economic development of the Russian Federation and Hungary, signing of Protocol VII of the session of the Russian-Hungarian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation and signing of the agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations and Foreign Affairs of Hungary on international and foreign economic relations interfacing in the spheres of trade and economics, science and technology, ecology, humanities, culture, etc., is planned within the framework of the plenary session of the Russian-Hungarian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation.
