Deputy Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov reported on the preparation to spring field work and the state support of farm households at the republican session in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan today.
The President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held the videoconferencing session with all the municipal districts. Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov also took part in it.
The minister reported on the limits of the state support form the federal and republican budgets at 1 liter of milk. The farm households, which even in difficult years could preserve their productivity and cattle population, will get much more profound financial support, emphasized the minister.
Speaking about purchasing of mineral fertilizers, the minimum level should be 50 kg/ha, according to Marat Akhmetov. Nowadays the average level in Tatarstan farm households is 13.9 kg/ha, which is less in comparison with the same period of 2014. The difference between districts of the republic concerning the amount of purchased mineral fertilizers is great, reported the minister, in some farm households there are no fertilizers even for winter crops. “No fertilizers – no harvest”, said Marat Akhmetov to heads of municipal districts.
The minister also reported that by the present day 122 loans amounting to 4 billion rubles had been received out of 9 billion rubles needed for the sowing campaign, which is by 3.7 billion rubles less in comparison with the same period of 2014.
Marat Akhmetov paid special attention to the issue of provision of farm households with petroleum, oil and lubricants for the sowing campaign. According to the words of the minister, farm households got the limits, contracts with bulk plants were signed. It was decided that farm households were to pay for their limits through March 25, as reminded the minister, but a number of districts did not pay though the difference between the usual price and the cut price was profound.
Marat Akhmetov asked heads of districts to take measures to keep cut prices at oil, petroleum and lubricants for their farm households, otherwise the limits would be given to other solvent farms.
Rustam Minnikhanov also asked heads of districts to pay serious attention to the issue of provision of farm households with oil, petroleum and lubricants during the sowing campaign.
