Representatives of Tatarstan fish farms got training certificates
In the FSBEI “Tatar Institute of Agro-Business Personnel Development” on March 16-18 the training for specialists working in fisheries was held. The training course was headed by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nazip Khazipov.
The following specialists took part in the training: director of the FSBSI “State Scientific-Research Institute of Lake and River Fishery” Rail Tagirov, specialists Georgy Stchukin and Rimma Akhtyamova; head of the department “Water bio-resources and aquaculture” of the FSBEI HPE “Kazan State Power Engineering University”, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Marina Kalaida; directors and representatives of agricultural organizations and fish farms; chief of cattle breeding department of the SSI “Tatar Scientific-Research Institute of Agriculture of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences”, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Shamil Shakirov; Vice-Rector for methodic work of the FSBEI “Tatar Institute of Agro-Business Personnel Development” Eleonora Khafizova.
The following topics were studied during the training: methods to breed fish, prospects of aquaculture development in the Republic of Tatarstan, breeding of cancers, selection of juvenile fishes, technology and construction of fish farms, standards of stocking with fish, feeding of fish, all-mash, procedural and institutional issues of fishery organization, taxation.
At the end of the training course the representatives of fisheries got certificates.
A round table discussion was held at the end of the course. The participants shared their impression on the training, told what they would like to know during the future training courses. They also discussed the opportunity to create “Tatar Fishery” Association, which would unite different fish farms. In everybody’s opinion creation of such organization would make the existence of small organizations easier.
