Agricultural fairs will take place through March

On February 21, agricultural fairs took place at 8 city sites in order to improve the provision of Tatarstan population with agricultural products and consumer goods.

Yesterday people could buy various products: potato, vegetables, honey, butter, milk, eggs, herbs, etc. A number of representatives from some districts of the republic, as well as “Holding company “Ak Bars”, Laishevo branch “Poultry complex “Ak Bars”, “Tatplodovoschprom”, “Tatpotrebsoyuz”, “Dairy products factory “Edelveis-M”,”Prosto Moloko”, and some other Tatarstan AIC enterprises. Producers of dairy and meet products, vegetables, fish and groceries from municipal districts of the republic, enterprises of local food processing industry, and entrepreneurs sold agricultural products amounting to 23.7 million rubles.

Price survey showed that the prices at fairs were stable, they stayed on the level recommended by the Ministry of Agriculture and Foodstuff of the Republic of Tatarstan and even lower. For example, 1 kg of buckwheat cost 45 rubles, 1 kg of beef cost 250-280 rubles, 1 liter of milk cost 28 rubles, 1 kg of cucumbers cost 88 rubles (trade company “Maiski”), 1 kg of tomatoes cost 120 rubles (trade company “Maiski”), etc.

In the Soviet District of the city there were 2 agricultural fairs – Agro-Industrial Park “Kazan” (2 Agrarnaya St.) and in Derbyshki Settlement (7 Lipatova St., “Derbi” market).

In Novo-Savinovski District the agricultural fair took place on “Novo-Savinovski wholesale and retail market” (21 Adoratski St.).

In Aviastroitelnyi District of Kazan the fair took place in front of lyceum 123 (39 Dementyev St.). Producers from municipal districts and enterprises of the republic also were there.

In Moscow District there was an opportunity to buy agricultural products at more attractive prices at the crossroads of Kulakhmetov and Vosstanie Streets (the territory in front of the supermarket “Pyaterochka +”).

Those living in Kirov District of the city had an opportunity to buy agricultural products on the territory in front of the shopping center “Yagodnaya Sloboda” (152/2 Krasnokokshaiskaya St.).

It is worth mentioning that agricultural fairs will take place by April 1, 2015.
