Financial support for regions

Short term loans will be allocated to the regions of the country within a week.

By February 20, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation will allocate the funds from the federal budget to the regions for partial refund of the interest rate on short term loans in the spheres of crop raising and cattle breeding, as well as on long term loans, given to small farm households.

The draft regulations of the Russian federation Government on allocation of subsidies to the regions for 2015 were considered on February 12, 2015 at the session of the Government of the Russian Federation.

The total amount of funds from the federal budget for support in 2015 will make up: 18,842.2 million rubles on short term loans in crop raising (2.5 times more than it was planned in December 2014), 9,270 million rubles on short term loans in cattle breeding (3.2 times more), 7,618.7 million rubles on loans for slam farm households (by a quarter more than it was planned).
