Volga Region Agricultural Forum

On February 18-20, 2015, the Volga Region Agricultural Forum takes place in the exhibition center “Kazan Fair”. Within the framework of the forum the 18th international specialized exhibition “Agricultural complex: Interagro. Animed. Volga Region Farmer” and the 15th specialized exhibition “Volgaprodexpo” were held.

The organizing parties of the exhibition are “Kazan Fair”, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Chief Veterinary Directorate of the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers, the Association of Russian Farm Households and Agricultural Cooperatives, the Association of Farmers and Farm Households of the Republic of Tatarstan, Kazan City Hall.

Simultaneous with the exhibitions, a session of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan will be held. At the session the results of Tatarstan AIC work 2014, as well as the tasks for 2015 will be discussed.

Within the framework of the session, there will be the display of different branches of Tatarstan AIC, such as “Economy”, “Science and Personnel”, “Plant Growing”, “Animal Breeding”, “Mechanization”, “Labour Safety”. Each display will reveal the trends of agricultural development, introduction of innovative technologies, technical backup, improvement of working

conditions and labour safety in villages, as well as the development of AIC in total.

In pavilion #2 there will be stands of the Association of Farmers and Farm Households of the Republic of Tatarstan and the biggest companies of Tatarstan AIC. Among these organizations there is “Tatpotrebsoyuz”, “Agroinvest”, “KV-Agro”, “Agrosila Group”, “Prosto Moloko”, “Maisky”, “Ak Bars”, etc.

The Volga Region Agricultural Forum is one of the biggest and the most important event of the Tatarstan AIC. It attracts over a thousand of agricultural business representatives annually, who are interested in the discussion of the main issues concerning agriculture, new business contacts as well as the presentation of their products.

This year over 150 companies from 30 cities of Russia will take part in the forum. Representatives from Belorussia, Belgium, Germany, Turkey, Czech Republic, Switzerland will also participate. The traditional part of the Volga Region Agricultural Forum is a fair of agricultural products, where guests will have an opportunity buy organic foodstuff of a high quality at attractive prices.

The Volga Region Agricultural Forum will give a great opportunity for producers of agricultural and foodstuff industry equipment to communicate and make business contacts with AIC specialists, directors of farm households, agricultural specialists, veterinarians, zoo specialists, representatives of agricultural business, directors of retail chains, representatives of foodstuff and processing industries.
