Amelioration development 2015

In the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan a session chaired by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildus Gabdrakhmanov was held. The session was devoted to the implementation of ameliorative programs for 2015 and 2015-2020.

Heads of farm households, representatives of the FSBI “Tatmeliovodkhoz” Directorate”, “Tatamelioration” and big investors of AIC were invited to the meeting. The participants discussed the ways to support amelioration of lands in the forthcoming season.

Director of the FSBI “Tatmeliovodkhoz” Mars Khismatullin noted that last year ameliorative subdivisions carried out repairing and maintenance work at 158 ameliorative sites of the republic. It was also emphasized that owing to the state support over 7,000 ha of irrigated lands became available for cultivation after construction and reconstruction.

Under the federal and republican special purpose programs in 2015 90% of the costs on construction, water facilities reconstruction and well-drilling, 50% of the costs on energy supply at the irrigation output for watering of crops, and 80% of the costs on purchasing of the reclamative engineering were allocated as subsidies for ameliorative works to agricultural producers. Within the framework of the federal special purpose program, up to 50% of costs on construction, reconstruction and technical modernization of ameliorative systems are given as subsidies for partial reimbursement to agricultural producers. To receive the subsidies it is necessary to provide the design estimate documentation undergone a state examination.

Beside this, under the state support of the Tatarstan AIC, in 2015 the subsidies will be allocated for expansion of crop areas for vegetables (20,000 rubles per 1 excessing ha), cabbage (60,000 rubles per ha), potato (20,000 rubles per ha), comparing the results of 2014 and 2015.

After the session there was a detailed discussion with the deputy minister concerning all the applications for subsidies for 2015 and signing of the agreements on implementation of the federal special purpose program “Amelioration development of Russian agricultural lands for 2014-2020”.
