Living in a village

Grant financing under the terms of co-financing is being actively introduced in order to solve problems in villages, facilitate provision of necessary facilities to rural sites, and increase social activity of the population living in the rural area.

In 2014 the state support for the population living in the rural area of Tatarstan was presented through the special-purpose program “Sustainable development of rural territories for the period of 2014-2017 and until 2020”. The funds are allocated to non-profit project on construction of children’s playgrounds.

690 people participated in landscape gardening and provision of the necessary facilities on the sites under the projects to be implemented. The implementation of projects on grant financing for the previous year proved the effectiveness of such support because it enables to combine funds from budgets of all levels, finances of individuals and companies and to allocate them to solve the most vital social-economic problems.

The important factor is that the increase of the living standard depends first of all on the activity of people themselves. This is the population that makes the decision about the type of the project to be implemented and the amount of efforts to be spent on that.
