Implementation of programs on construction and basic repair of buildings, construction of roads and support of agriculture provide population with employment and are anti-crisis measures, as reported the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov at a weekly videoconferencing session today.
The Minister of Architecture, Construction and Housing and Utilities Infrastructure of the Republic of Tatarstan Irek Faizullin reported on implementation of construction programs. He stated that during a month 251,500 square meters of housing have been built. According to the programs of reduced-price mortgage, 15 houses (9,500 square meters in total) with 193 flats have been built.
Within the framework of the program on construction of rental housing, it is planned to build 21 houses (71,400 square meters in total). By the current date 1 house in Elabuga has been built (7,600 square meters).
In Tatarstan 11 houses for 66 veterans of the Great Patriotic War are being built now.
Irek Faizullin reported that by the current date in Tatarstan 18,000 people signed contracts on cooperative housing projects. The President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov commented on the situation and set the task to check all the construction companies in terms of their ability to finish their work in order to prevent cheating of those who participate in such projects.
The Minister of Transport and Road Facilities of the Republic of Tatarstan Lenar Safin reported on implementation of programs on road construction. The Prime Minister – the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov spoke on AIC buying seeds for the forthcoming sowing campaign.
Summing up, the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that all the issues under discussion facilitated stabilization of the social-economic situation in the republic. “Construction, road maintenance and agriculture provide population with employment. These are strong anti-crisis measures”, stated the president.
