Conference of farmers, farm households and agricultural cooperatives in Kamskoe Ustye municipal district of Tatarstan

On January 29, 2015 a conference among farmers, farm households and agricultural cooperatives took place in the Kamskoe Ustye municipal district. Acting chief executive officer of the Kamskoe Ustye municipal district executive committee Pavel Lokhanov took part in the conference.

The following officials also participated in the event: Chief of the Agriculture and Food Department Ilfat Valiyev, Chairman of the Kamskoye Ustye Farmers Association Akhmet Bikkinin, local farmers, heads of villages, specialists of the Agriculture and Food Department as well as directors of other departments and divisions of the municipal district.

The conference was opened by the speech of the acting chief executive officer of the Kamskoye Ustye municipal district Executive Committee Pavel Lokhanov.

After that, Ilfat Valiyev presented the participants of the conference the results of work for 2014 and the results of the support programs “Development of family animal breeding farms among farm households” and “Support of young farmers in the Republic of Tatarstan”. He noted that specialists of the Agriculture and Food Department of the municipal district provide directors of farm households with aid concerning collection of all necessary documents for participation in state programs. Akhmet Bikkinin spoke on the following issues: debt load of farm households, absence of the working capital, rise in prices for foodstuff, - all these factors make it necessary to increase agricultural production output.

During the conference the following issues were also discussed: securing the land rights for bee-yards and cultivation of fodder crops, renting of free buildings and sites, accessible roads to animal breeding farms, creation of farm households, opportunities for farmers to sell products to population at attractive prices.
