Tatarstan Farmers Are Planning to Increase Agricultural Production Output

Tatarstan farmers are planning to increase the agricultural production output by 30 %. According to the words of the Chairman of the Framers and Farm Households Association Kamiyar Baitemirov, a regular congress of farmers, farm households and agricultural cooperatives takes place on January 30, 2015.

He stated that one of the main issues for discussion at the congress is the increase of production output under the conditions of import substitution.

Kamiyar Baitemirov reported that currently there is a lack of at least 30% of local agricultural production. Thus, it is necessary to ramp up production.

The way to increase production of meat, potatoes and vegetables will be discussed at the congress.
