Preparation of Groundcare Machines for the Sowing Campaign in Tatarstan

In the Republic of Tatarstan, it is expected to use about 14,000 trucks, 6,000 drill machines and 6,000 rippers during the sowing campaign. It was reported by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov at the republican session in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan today. The videoconferencing session with all municipal districts of the republic was held by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov.

Marat Akhmetov said that the major load of the spring field work would be for 600 sowing machines. A great part of repairing work is expected to be carried out, which leads to big expenses. About 3 billion rubles are required to repair machinery for the field work 2015, where 1.3 billion rubles are required for the sowing campaign.

He reported in details about the repairing of groundcare machines in different municipal districts of the republic (the quality of the repairing work, skilled repair crews, etc.).

The Minister paid attention to poor readiness of some districts for the repairing of groundcare machines. He emphasized the importance of repairing works because they would influence the forthcoming sowing campaign. Agricultural enterprises should prepare sowing and groundcare machines and trucks by April 1.

Taking into account the high cost of import spare parts, the Ministry is considering the opportunity to produce them at the factories of the republic. Directors of agricultural holding companies and managers of local agricultural administrative bodies are to submit applications within 10 days.
