Tatarstan Program on Modernization of Thrashing Floors

In Tatarstan, a program on modernization of thrashing floors is under development. During the mass grain harvesting, it is important that the work is done carefully and smoothly, as reported by the Association “Elite Seeds of Tatarstan”.

The program on modernization of grain thrashing floors was suggested by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov.

A grain thrashing floor is the place where grains get the necessary condition. However today the equipment capability of these venues are out of date. Grain drying and grain grading machines are very old, in some farm households there are no such machines at all.

There are several steps to solve the problem. For example, the task for 2015 is to produce 36 grain and seed cleaners of different productivity (10 million rubles) and send them to Tatarstan AIC enterprises.

Beside this, another vital issue will be discussed with a number of producers and dealers, namely, the opportunity to supply these machines with spare parts.
