The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation is carrying out a complex state statistical data analysis within the implementation of the State Program of Agricultural Development and Regulation of Agricultural, Raw Materials and Foodstuff markets for 2013-2020.
During 11 months of the current year in different agricultural organizations 7.9 million tons of cattle and poultry have been produced for slaughter, which is by 7.6% more than it was last year. Production of pigs for slaughter has increased by 12.4%, sheep and goats production for slaughter has increased by 3.8%, poultry production – by 7.2%. Meanwhile beef cattle production for slaughter has decreased by 3.2%.
Milk production in different agricultural organizations has made up 13.2 million tons for the period of January-November of the current year, which is 102.2% of the last year period. The milk yield per cow is 4,950 kg, which is by 357 kg (7.8%) more in comparison with 2013.
Eggs production in different agricultural organizations is at the last year level – 28.9 billion for 11 months of the current year. The average egg yield has increased by 4 eggs and has made up 282 eggs.
By the beginning of December, the beef cattle population in different agricultural organizations has made up 8.5 million, which is 97% in comparison with the last year figures.
