Import substitution of foodstuff produced in the republic

Yesterday in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan a session, devoted to the import substitution of foodstuff in the republic, was held by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov.

Different agricultural producers of the republic were invited to the session. The main topic for discussion was the e-catalogue of Tatarstan products.

According to the words of Marat Akhmetov the e-catalogue is being created currently. By December 2014 it is necessary to train and register in it as many enterprises of Tatarstan AIC as possible. In the long term the e-catalogue should become popular among consumers. It is planned that schools, kindergartens, hospitals, etc. will purchase with the help of the catalogues.

The minister noted that at the beginning of December this issue would be discussed by the economic council on Tatarstan AIC.

The following officials also took part in the session: the Chief of the Strategic Development Forecasting Administration of the Russian Ministry of Economics, the Chairman of the Public Council on Organic Production of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Valery Gogin, the Administrative Director of AV Group Ilya Zakharov.
