Financial support for farmers

The Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Nikolai Fedorov sighed the minutes of the Commission on Financing Coordination of AIC.

Thus, the projects selected by the Commission and denoted in the attachment to the minutes are included into the list of investment projects and they are subject to subsidizing in the current year.

It should be noted that the Commission on Financing Coordination of AIC examined 9,000 investment projects. It was decided to subsidize 8,600 credit contracts.

In total for the period of 2014, taking into consideration the previous sessions of the Commission on the selection of investment projects for the development of meat cattle breeding as well as the projects being implemented in the regions suffered from the flood 2013 in the Far Eastern Federal District, 9,000 projects have been selected with credits and loans of over 400 billion rubles.

Implementation of the projects selected by the Commission last time will enable to enlarge the overall production of pig by almost 589,000 tons, increase poultry production by 409,570 tons, milk production by 521,690 tons and enlarge the land for vegetables growing by almost 400 ha.

It should be mentioned that additional finances of 20 billion rubles form the budget are allocated for subsidizing of investment loans in the current year.
