106.3 million tons of crops were milled

The most difficult period of harvesting has started. The weather makes its allowances into the plans of agrarians. That is why it is necessary to do the best to harvest profoundly. By October 22, 2014 according to the recent data of AIC administrative bodies of the Russian Federation constituent entities 42.4 million ha with grains and pulses were thrashed, which is 93.9% of the total harvesting area.106.3 million tons of crops were milled, the average crop yield is 25.1 dt/ha.

23.2 million ha with winter and spring wheat were thrashed on the territory of Russia, which is 94.1% of the total harvesting area. 60.9 million tons were milled, the average crop yield is 26.3 dt/ha.

8.9 million ha with winter and spring barley were thrashed, which is 97.3% of the total harvesting area. 20.9 million tons were milled, the average crop yield is 23.6 dt/ha. About 2 million ha with corn were thrashed, which is 73.6% of the total harvesting area. 8.9 million tons were milled, the average crop yield is 45.6 dt/ha.

164,400 ha with rice were thrashed, which is 83.9% of the total harvesting area. Over 1 million tons were milled, the average crop yield is 62.1 dt/ha.

755,200 ha with sugar beet were thrashed, which is 82.9% of the total harvesting area. 27.7 million tons were harvested, the average crop yield is 367.1 dt/ha.

977,800 ha with winter and spring rape were thrashed, which is 82.1% of the total harvesting area. 1.4 million tons were milled, the average crop yield is 14.4 dt/ha. 5.3 million ha with sunflower were thrashed, which is 78.3% of the total harvesting area. 7.7 million tons were milled, the average crop yield is 14.5 dt/ha.

1.5 million ha with soya bean were thrashed, which is 73.8% of the total harvesting area. 2 million tons were milled, the average crop yield is 13.6 dt/ha.

294,000 ha with potato were harvested on farms and in farm households, which is 93% of the total harvesting area, 5.8 million tons were harvested, the average yield is 197.8 dt/ha.

In agricultural enterprises and farm households 144,600 ha with vegetables were harvested, which is 85.9% of the total harvesting area, 3.3 million tons were harvested, the average crop yield is 227.3 dt/ha.

According to the data given by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian federation, winter crops have been sowed on 16.2 million ha, which is 98.4% of the forecasted total area for sowing.
