Tatarstan enterprises were awarded at the exhibition of pedigree livestock and commercial breeding

As a part of All-Russia Agricultural Exhibition “Golden Autumn 2014” an exhibition of pedigree livestock breeding and commercial breeding took place in Moscow where the main breeds of cattle, sheep, goats, fur-bearing animals, poultry, fish and bees were presented.

Within the framework of the agrarian forum, a contest “Achievement of high efficiency in the development of pedigree livestock breeding and commercial breeding” was held. More than 180 organizations and enterprises from 36 regions of the Russian Federation participated in it. They presented a wide range of breeds of cattle, poultry and fish at the exhibition, as well as stands with their achievements in the development of cattle breeding.

The participants from Tatarstan showed their achievements and got back with awards.

The following agricultural enterprises from the Republic of Tatarstan were awarded: “Biryuli” and “Matyushino” were awarded with golden medals and letters of gratitude of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture (animal breeding); “Chulman” and “Ushnya” were awarded for their investment projects on the development of fish farming in the republic of Tatarstan.

According to the agrarian office of the country, 8 specialized breeds of cattle from 20 enterprises were presented in beef cattle breeding; 13 breeds of cows from 31 enterprises were presented in dairy cattle breeding; 2 enterprises presented their stands about pig farming; 13 breeds from 24 enterprises were presented in sheep and goat breeding; 19 enterprises presented poultry; 25 enterprises presented breeds in animal breeding; 23 enterprises presented fish farming; 1 enterprise presented deer breeding; 1 enterprise presented bee farming.

Relevant departments together with branch associations organized 6 roundtable discussions devoted to the development of dairy and beef cattle breeding, poultry production, pig farming, sheep breeding and fur-animal breeding. Chiefs and skilled workers of AIC administrative bodies from the Russian constituent entities, agricultural enterprises and farm households, representatives of research and development institutes participated in the events.
