Project of Tatar Agriculture Research and Development Institute was awarded at “Golden Autumn” Exhibition

Traditionally the Tatar Agriculture Research and Development Institute presented the Republic of Tatarstan in the agricultural exhibition “Golden Autumn” which took place in Moscow from October 8 until October 11.

At the XVI All-Russia Agricultural Exhibition “Golden Autumn”, the project of the Tatar Agriculture Research and Development Institute was awarded with a golden medal and the first place diploma for high efficiency communication and data support of the Republic of Tatarstan.

For the first time the exhibition was held after the imposing of sanctions for foodstuff from the EU and the USA. That is why it was especially crucial for all the participants of the display to show what innovative developments and what products would replace the import ones.

At the exhibition, the Tatar Agriculture Research and Development Institute presented scientific achievements, for example, special varieties of peas, which do not dehisce during harvesting, winter-hardy varieties of winter wheat, varieties of spring wheat with high quality and crop-producing power, virus-resistant varieties of potatoes.

Tatarstan agricultural scientists also showcased some original technological developments in the field of farming, fodder production and cattle breeding, aiming at quality improvement and overall agricultural production increase; a wide range of methodical literature, course books and recommendatory bibliography, etc.
