All-Russia Science-to-Practice Conference on Veterinary

Today All-Russia science-to-practice conference “Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics, Education, Production: Contemporary Issues” is taking place in the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education “Kazan state academy of veterinary medicine named after N.E. Bauman”.

The organizers of the conference are the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Academic Methodological Association of Higher Educational Institutions of the Russian Federation on zootechnics and veterinary, the Kazan state academy of veterinary medicine named after N.E. Bauman.

At the yesterday conference plenary session, on May 29, Rector of the Kazan state academy of veterinary medicine named after N.E. Bauman, Galinzyan Kabirov, welcomed the participants and the guests.

Nazip Khazipov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan on cattle breeding, reported on the current state of cattle breeding in the republic.

Almaz Khisamutdinov, Chief of the Veterinary Principal Directorate of the Republic of Tatarstan, spoke about the role and the tasks of the veterinary service.

After the plenary session the discussion of the current veterinary issues was held at 7 workshops. There are more workshops today, on May 30. There are also round table discussions according to the program of the conference.

The following current issues are being discussed at the conference: anatomy, histology and embryology of animals, innovations and new technologies in the educational system of humanities in agrarian higher educational institutions and the ways to improve them, etc.
