Spring sowing campaign

According to recent reports of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan the spring sowing campaign has finished on 1706.5 thousand ha which is 98% of the total area of fields.
1036.2 thousand ha were sowed with spring crops and pulse crops, including 469.4 thousand ha sowed with wheat. 77.6 thousand ha are sowed with rape (77%), 65.8 thousand ha are sowed with sunflower (86%), 205.1 thousand ha are sowed with corn (95%).
Anti-drawk and anti-blast treatment is being carried out. 577.2 thousand ha are treated against drawks and 364.6 thousand ha are treated against blasts.
