566,200 ha sowed with spring crops

According to recent reports of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan the spring sowing campaign is being carried out in all regions of the republic. 566.2 thousand ha (33%) have been sowed.

103,700 ha are sowed with wheat, 260,200 ha are sowed with rye, and 431,800 ha are sowed with spring crops.

The bigger part of areas are sowed by agronomists of Buinsk (35,000 ha), Aznakaevo (28,800 ha), Sarmanovo (27,000 ha) and Dorzhzhanovo (26,200 ha) municipal districts.

Sugar-beet is being sowed in 12 regions of the republic. The current leaders are: Sarmanovo municipal district (4,100 ha), Nurlat municipal district (2,700 ha), Buinsk and Zainsk municipal districts (2,300 ha each). In total 18,700 ha of sugar-beet have been sowed.

Harrowing of winter crops is 88% completed, Tatarstan agronomists have almost finished the harrowing of perennial grasses (97%).
