Marat Akhmetov – Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – reported on the sowing campaign at the session in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan today.
Ildar Khalikov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, held the video-conference with all municipal districts of the republic.
By May 3, 2014, in Tatarstan 440,000 ha are sowed with spring crops (25%).
19.2 thousand ha are sowed with sugar beet (39%).
Marat Akhmetov also reported on the state of winter crops. He noted that 90% of winter crops are considered to be in a good or satisfactory condition. 588.5 thousand ha are sowed with winter crops where 271.5 thousand ha are sowed with winter wheat and 301.6 thousand ha – with fall rye.
There are in average 36.6 kg of mineral fertilizers per ha in various regions of the republic (from 10-20 kg to 78 kg per ha, depending on the region).
Marat Akhmetov stated that 80,000 tons of subsidized diesel fuel were provided for the spring sowing campaign in the Republic of Tatarstan.
