Meeting in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan on arrangements of “Halal” Fair

Today in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan there was an organizational meeting on arrangements of “Halal” Fair in OJSC “Agricultural Park “Kazan”.

Nikolay Titov, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, held the meeting.

The following officials took part in it: Nazip Khazipov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan; Marat Nizamov, Chairman of “Halal” Standards Committee of the Tatarstan Spiritual Directorate of the Muslims; Rifat Nasybullin, Sales Director of OJSC “Agricultural Park “Kazan”; various representatives of the enterprises producing halal products, etc.

During the meeting a favourable date of the Fair and conditions of participation were being discussed.

Nikolay Titov, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, touched upon a question of the scope of the forthcoming event. It was suggested to invite producers from neighboring regions.

“Halal” Standards Committee of the Tatarstan Spiritual Directorate of the Muslims took responsibilities for making an entry list for the Fair. It will also check if all the production presented at the Fair is halal.

Following the results it was decided to hold a series of meetings on discussion of all issues and suggestions concerning the forthcoming Fair of halal production in OJSC “Agricultural Park “Kazan”.
