A congress of gardeners from the Republic of Tatarstan was held today at the Kazan Agro-Industrial Park. Participants included Ilya Slesarsky, Chairman of the Board of the Union of Gardeners of the Republic of Tatarstan; Rustem Gainullov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan; Nazip Khazipov, Deputy Chairman of the State Council Committee on Ecology, Nature Management, Agro-Industrial and Food Policy; and gardeners from the republic.
Since 2017, thanks to the support of Rustam Minnikhanov, Raisa of the Republic of Tatarstan, the republic has been systematically supporting gardeners. More than 6.35 billion rubles have been allocated from the budget for the development of the infrastructure of gardening non-profit partnerships.
Rustem Gainullov noted that 750 million rubles have been allocated for the needs of gardening associations this year, including: 300 million rubles for repairing access roads to gardening associations; 148 million rubles for repairing water supply facilities; 2 million rubles for repairing solid municipal waste disposal sites; and 300 million rubles for repairing electrical grid facilities. "Special attention has been paid to energy—the allocated amount of 300 million rubles is three times higher than in previous years. This will allow us to quickly resolve issues with voltage fluctuations, improve the reliability of power supply, and ensure the uninterrupted operation of electrical grid equipment," the Deputy Minister added.
According to him, investments in infrastructure have already translated into concrete, tangible assets used by gardeners. Over the past years, thanks to state support, large-scale projects have been completed in the republic, changing the face of gardening associations.
Welcoming the congress participants, Nazip Khazipov said: "The Republic of Tatarstan is a leader in the pace of modernization of gardening community infrastructure. Projects are being successfully implemented in the republic, setting an example for other regions of our country. To date, this process has involved a huge number of gardening communities. This solution allows us to improve the reliability and accessibility of comfortable living for our gardeners and relieve them of the burden of maintaining and repairing complex technical infrastructure."
He added that gardening communities in Tatarstan are not just places for recreation, but also an important socio-economic resource. "They facilitate the development of small farms, provide fresh agricultural produce, and play a significant role in the environmental well-being of the region," Nazip Khazipov emphasized.
The Tatarstan Gardeners' Congress also focused on the implementation of the Lokolo GIS, fire safety measures, electricity payment systems, and participation in the "Pre-Gasification of SNT" and "Gasification of SNT" programs.
