Spring agricultural fairs conclude in Tatarstan

Spring agricultural fairs have concluded in the Republic of Tatarstan. They were held at 14 venues in Kazan, two venues in Naberezhnye Chelny and the Zelenodolsk district, and three venues in the Nizhnekamsk district.

Over the seven weeks of the fairs this year, agricultural products worth a total of 642.8 million rubles were sold, which is 181.3 million rubles more than at the 2025 spring agricultural fairs.

A total of 760 tons of vegetables were sold, including 411.1 tons of potatoes, 134.6 tons of bulk milk, 216.8 tons of sugar, 1,187,000 chicken eggs, and 661.3 tons of meat, including 348.3 tons of beef. A total of 6,519 vehicles were used for the fairs.

Compared to the 2025 spring agricultural fairs, the following products were in high demand: potatoes – 109.6%; cabbage – 161.3%; carrots – 124.6%; beets – 130.3%; onions – 141.3%; beef – 126.3%; poultry – 126.8%; flour – 137.3%; butter – 106.6%; fish – 116.1%.

The development of Russia's agro-industrial complex and its technological independence are in line with the goals of the national project "Technological Support for Food Security." This will ensure that the country has all the necessary products and greater opportunities to strengthen its position in the global market.
