Traditional agricultural fairs resumed in the Republic of Tatarstan on March 14, and last weekend, they were held under the auspices of the "Gagarin Fairs" as part of the Gagarin Decade.
Over the five fair weeks, agricultural products worth a total of 466.5 million rubles were sold, including 560.3 tons of vegetables, 93.2 tons of bulk milk, 144.1 tons of sugar, 897,900 chicken eggs, and 487.2 tons of meat, including 255.8 tons of beef. A total of 4,622 vehicles were used to conduct the fairs.
Support for small businesses is consistent with the goals and objectives of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy." The fairs are scheduled to run through April 26, 2026 (seven fair weeks).
