As part of the Gagarin Decade in the Republic of Tatarstan and the 65th anniversary of the first human spaceflight, agricultural fairs will be held this week under the auspices of the "Gagarin Fairs" to commemorate the heroic deed of Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin, the planet's first cosmonaut.
Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin completed the first human spaceflight on April 12, 1961, and landed in a field near the village of Smelovka in the Saratov Region.
