A delegation from the Republic of Belarus is on a working visit to the Republic of Tatarstan. It is accompanied by Marat Zyabbarov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Belarusian delegation was led by Pyotr Parkhomchik, Chairman of the Brest Regional Executive Committee. The delegation also included Viktor Shchetko, Acting Head of the Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus in Kazan; Mikhail Batsenko, Deputy Chairman of the Brest Regional Executive Committee; Ivan Krasovsky, Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee's Economy Committee; Vadim Kravchuk, Head of the Brest FEZ Administration; and representatives of Belarusian enterprises.
Today, during the working visit, the delegation visited the Zelenodolsk Plant named after A.M. Gorky. The plant is one of the largest and most strategically important shipbuilding enterprises in Russia, which celebrated the 120th anniversary of its industrial activity in 2015.
Then, in Naberezhnye Chelny, the Belarusian delegation toured the operations of KAMAZ PJSC, the largest automobile corporation in the Russian Federation. Its production capacity is 71,000 vehicles per year. Over 2.5 million vehicles have rolled off the assembly line since the plant's inception.
