Last Saturday, Lenar Garipov, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, inspected the traditional agricultural fairs in Kazan.
Following the four weeks of fairs, farmers in the Republic of Tatarstan sold agricultural products worth a total of 375.5 million rubles, including 460.7 tons of vegetables, 73.2 tons of bulk milk, 109.4 tons of sugar, 724,100 chicken eggs, and 398.3 tons of meat, including 208.8 tons of beef. A total of 3,668 vehicles were used for the fairs.
The fairs have high social significance and are one of the most popular formats for selling agricultural products produced by Tatarstan producers, which aligns with the goals and objectives of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy."
As a reminder, the spring agricultural fairs will run until April 26. Traditionally, you can purchase fresh, natural products directly from farmers, cooperatives, and agricultural enterprises in the republic at competitive prices.
