30 March 2026, Monday

The 14th All-Russian Assembly of Entrepreneurs from Tatar Villages opened in Kazan. It brought together over 800 participants, including representatives of small businesses, farms, smallholdings, and government agencies. The forum traditionally places special emphasis on issues of corporate social responsibility and strengthening the unity of the Tatar world.

Lenar Garipov, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, attended the opening of the assembly. He spoke about the state of the republic's agro-industrial complex and measures to support small businesses.

"Overall, small businesses in the Republic of Tatarstan account for a significant share of agricultural production, producing 160 billion rubles, or 40%, in 2025." "About a million people live in rural areas of the republic. Thanks to their daily labor, residents of the republic are fully provided with basic foodstuffs," he noted.

Lenar Garipov emphasized that, in addition to existing support programs, a grant from the republican budget will be introduced for continuing cooperatives starting in 2026. By decision of the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan, 200 million rubles will be allocated annually until 2030 for the development of dairy, meat, and vegetable processing. "This will allow us to retain the added value of our products in the republic and channel it into further development, increasing the income of cooperative members—both private and farm-based," the First Deputy Minister said.

Addressing the meeting participants, Lenar Garipov noted: "Your achievements, proposals, and initiatives will become the foundation upon which the future of our villages will be built."

During the event, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of Tatars Vasil Shaikhraziev also awarded active entrepreneurs for their services to the Tatar people.
