The branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Center for Quality Control of the Agro-Industrial Complex" in the Republic of Tatarstan received seven tulip samples, selected from shipments totaling 3.9 million tulips.

The flowers were intended for transportation across Russia for further sale in Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Ulyanovsk, as well as in the Republics of Bashkortostan, Udmurtia, and Chuvashia.

Applications for the establishment of quarantine phytosanitary status for these products were received from one of the republic's greenhouse farms where the tulips were grown.

Specialists conducted herbological and entomological examinations. The tests revealed no quarantine pests.

"Based on the results of the examinations, the branch issued the applicant a certificate of compliance with the phytosanitary conditions of the quarantine products," noted Ulyana Polkanova, Deputy Head of the Testing Laboratory of the branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "TsOK AIC" in the Republic of Tatarstan.
