Improving the Quality of Life for Rural Residents of Tatarstan Discussed at Tatpotrebsoyuz

17 February 2026, Tuesday

Today, a working meeting was held at Tatpotrebsoyuz between Rashat Shaimardanov, Chairman of the Board of the Union of Consumer Cooperative Organizations of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Ruslan Mukhamadeev, Head of the Client Management Department of the Sberbank Regional State Corporation.

At the meeting, prospects for further cooperation and the joint implementation of projects in the area of mobile cash service points and drive-through shops for consumer cooperative organizations in the republic were discussed.

"Currently, we have 14 mobile cash service points, and this number is increasing annually. We currently cover 206 settlements. They operate according to a specific schedule and an approved route. This allows us to provide banking services to a larger number of settlements where we do not have permanent offices," noted Ruslan Mukhamadeev.

Creating comfortable conditions for residents of rural areas is one of our priority areas. "We serve 1,300 communities, and it's important that our villagers receive all the necessary public services, including mobile retail and other public services," emphasized Rashat Shaimardanov.

The mobile cash service point is a special minibus equipped like a bank mini-office. Here, villagers can use traditional banking products and services: pay utility bills, receive their pensions, apply for a bank card, apply for a loan, open or top up a bank account, and exchange currency.
