The specialized agricultural exhibition "Kazan Agro 2026" opened today at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center. Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov attended the opening.
Welcoming participants of "Kazan Agro 2026," Marat Zyabbarov noted: "Every year, the exhibition strengthens its status as the most important industry event not only for Tatarstan but for the entire Volga Federal District. It brings together producers, science, business, and government. This is where we see real synergy – from innovative developments to practical solutions that are already being implemented in fields, on farms, and at processing plants."
The Minister emphasized that the exhibition has expanded to include new thematic areas, modern technological solutions, and interaction formats. For the first time, the exhibition features a separate section on agritourism as a promising area combining agriculture, entrepreneurship, and rural development.
According to Marat Zyabbarov, this promotes interest in agriculture among schoolchildren and students, supports the development of the industry's human resources, and enhances the prestige of agricultural professions.
The Kazan Agro business program includes over 100 events, including roundtables, presentations, and expert discussions on key development areas in the agricultural sector. The focus is on the development of livestock and crop production, agricultural mechanization, and the introduction of digital technologies in the agro-industrial complex.
