A delegation from Tatarstan participated in the 17th Congress of the National Union of Milk Producers

Today, a delegation from the Republic of Tatarstan, led by Marat Zyabbarov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, participated in the Third Dairy Industry Leaders Forum.

The 17th Congress of the National Union of Milk Producers was held as part of the forum. Participants discussed key trends of the past year, new government support mechanisms, anti-inflation measures, and legislative initiatives that determine the investment attractiveness of the industry in the near future.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Patrushev addressed the plenary session of the congress. He summarized the year's results and outlined key objectives for the further development of the industry.

Dmitry Patrushev noted the importance of strengthening genetic potential. The government is promoting the development of genomic selection as part of the national project "Technological Support for Food Security."

As part of the working visit, the Tatarstan delegation also visited the International Exhibition of Production and Processing Technologies for Agro-Industrial Professionals "AGRAVIA" and the International Exhibition of Innovations and High Technologies "iAGRI."
