Tatarstan exported $27 million worth of halal products.
Rustem Gainullov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, visited the Republic of Turkey as part of a Tatarstan delegation led by Taliya Minullina, Head of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency.
During the visit, Rustem Gainullov participated in working meetings with representatives of major Turkish organizations, including Türkel Fuarcılık, a company that organizes and hosts international and local exhibitions, conferences, and business forums; Yapı & Yapı, a construction holding company; and Yataş Group.
Rustem Gaynullov toured the exhibits and participated in the summit's plenary session at the 10th World Halal Summit international trade fair at the Istanbul Fuar Merkezi Exhibition Center.
The exhibition aims to promote the halal industry, demonstrate the potential of the halal segment of the economy, and provide an opportunity to present products to potential buyers and partners.
During his visit, the Deputy Minister also participated in meetings between Taliya Minullina and Yunus Ete, Chairman of the Board of Discover Events and President of the Association of International Exhibition Organizers of Turkey; Ibistam Ahmed Saeed Al Farooqi, Deputy Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion of the Sultanate of Oman; and representatives of the Turkish Ministry of Industry and Technology.
Rustem Gainullov emphasized that the Republic of Tatarstan has the opportunity to export agricultural products, including those produced according to Halal standards, including meat, dairy, and confectionery products, sunflower oil, grains, and animal feed.
Two hundred and fifty-eight companies export agricultural products from the Republic of Tatarstan to 56 countries. Over the first 10 months of this year, products worth $376 million were shipped, including over $27 million worth of Halal products. Mutually beneficial relations strengthen partnerships and align with the goals of the national project "International Cooperation and Export."
The main exporters of agricultural products are: Kazan Fat Plant JSC, Essen Production AG JSC, Chistopolsky Vegetable Oil Plant LLC, Agrosila JSC, Kausar Cooperative, Camembert LLC, Azbuka Syra LLC, Vamin Tatarstan LLC, Akulchev Trading House LLC, Healthy Products Factory LLC, Emiz Trading House LLC.
