A new feed center opened in the Alekseyevsky District

Today, Rafael Fattakhov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, visited the Alekseevsky Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan.

During his visit, Rafael Fattakhov inspected the new feed center at the Rodina collective farm, with a daily production capacity of 150 tons.

The construction of feed centers is a priority for the Republic of Tatarstan. Currently, 57 feed centers operate in 24 municipal districts, serving over 212,000 head of cattle. For these purposes, government support is provided, covering 50% of the equipment purchase costs and 30% of the building construction costs.

To date, the republic has harvested 490,000 tons of hay, covering 150% of its annual needs. 3,100,000 tons of haylage are 94.2% of the planned volume, and 3,019,000 tons of silage are 80.3% of the planned volume. On average, the republic produces 37.3 centners of feed units per head of cattle, accounting for 93% of the required feed for eighteen months.
