This past weekend, traditional agricultural fairs were held in the Republic of Tatarstan at venues in Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Zelenodolsk, Nizhnekamsk, and Kamskiye Polyany in the Nizhnekamsk District.
The agricultural fairs are held to support small and medium-sized businesses, which aligns with the goals and objectives of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy."
Over the seven weeks of the fairs, agricultural products worth a total of 692.5 million rubles were sold, including 4,505.8 tons of vegetables: 2,943.5 tons of potatoes, 139.7 tons of bulk milk, 448.2 tons of sugar, 956,700 chicken eggs; and 506.4 tons of meat (including 297.9 tons of beef).
7,487 units of transport were used to hold the fairs.
