Tatarstan imported agricultural products worth 592 million rubles during six weeks of fairs.

Last Saturday, Marat Zyabbarov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, visited and inspected the fairgrounds on Belomorskaya Street. He observed the trading process and spoke with vendors and customers.

Fresh draft milk, dairy products, meat and meat products, grains, potatoes, and borscht vegetables are particularly popular with customers.

Agricultural fairs are held to support small and medium-sized businesses, which aligns with the goals and objectives of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy."

Over the course of the six fair weeks, agricultural products worth a total of 592 million rubles were imported, including 3,000.5 tons of vegetables, including 2,540 tons of potatoes; 120.8 tons of bulk milk; 355.9 tons of sugar; 826,500 chicken eggs; 433.6 tons of meat (including 254.4 tons of beef).

6,440 vehicles were used to hold the fairs.

Agricultural fairs in Tatarstan will continue until December 28, 2025.
