A series of events as part of the "Agritourism School" educational project will be held at the Kazan Cooperative Institute from October 16–18, 2025.
The "Agritourism School" is being implemented by the Sustainable Tourism Scientific and Educational Consortium with the support of JSC Rosselkhozbank. Participation in the project is free of charge and is open to representatives of rural and agrarian tourism companies, farmers, and agricultural producers from the Volga Federal District and surrounding regions.
Project experts will include representatives of federal and regional government agencies, scientific and educational organizations, industry associations, heads of leading agritourism and hospitality companies, tour operators, and leading experts in the national tourism industry.
The "Agritourism School" program will cover topics such as agricultural land use, marketing promotion of agritourism facilities, organizing event tourism, improving service and creating a unique selling proposition, building relationships with local tour operators, and incorporating agritourism facilities into tourist routes.
The practical portion of the program includes a study tour of successful agritourism facilities in the region.
Agritourism is an effective tool for rural development, integrating the agricultural and recreational potential of the region in support of the national "Tourism and Hospitality" project.
The event is being held with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, the National Union of the Hospitality Industry, Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, and the Committee for Sustainable Tourism Development of the CIS Business Center for Economic Development.
The events will be held in the assembly hall of the Kazan Cooperative Institute at the following address: st. Daurskaya St., 32.
