The application deadline for the "Village Leaders" young manager competition has been extended until October 19.
The All-Russian youth public organization "Russian Union of Rural Youth," in partnership with the All-Russian Association for the Development of Local Self-Government and the All-Russian political party "United Russia," is holding the All-Russian competition for young managers "Village Leaders."
The competition is one of the central events of the "Personnel for Rural Affairs" program, which is being implemented as part of the federal project "Russia – Land of Opportunity" and the national project "Youth and Children." The goal of the competition is to identify promising managers and opinion leaders in rural areas.
The competition consists of two remote stages designed to test general knowledge, abilities, and potential for social and political work, and an in-person final stage, which includes a comprehensive assessment of competencies.
Competition winners will receive support in professional and career development, assistance in building a rural community or municipal development team, and implementing a social, commercial, infrastructure, or other project within the framework of the "Rural Development Workshop" educational program. They will also have the opportunity to intern with federal government agencies, regional executive bodies, and local governments, and be included in expert and advisory bodies.
Competition participants must register through the website leadersela.rf until October 19, 2025.
