A Tatarstan delegation visited the CIFA International Agricultural Products Expo in China
A delegation from the Republic of Tatarstan, led by Gelyus Bayazitov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, paid a working visit to the CIFA International Import Food and Agricultural Products Expo in China. The expo is the leading industry event in central China for the procurement of imported food and agricultural products. The event was also attended by Fannur Zaripov, CEO of ELITA State Enterprise JSC, and Almaz Rakhimov, Director of the Hayat Special Purpose Breeding and Production Association.
During the trip, the delegation visited a bull station and a hide processing plant, which processes up to 10,000 hides per day, which will later be processed into leather, food products, fertilizers, and pharmaceuticals.
The delegation then toured the artificial insemination station, as well as laboratories for milk and feed analysis, semen production, and sexing. The parties discussed issues of interest in animal husbandry and shared experiences.
The station also houses a museum where children and adults can learn about the history of Chinese breeding and modern advances in genetics.
Representatives from the Republic of Tatarstan also visited agricultural enterprises in China in the following areas: livestock farming – Henan Dingyuan Breeding Cattle Co. – livestock reproduction, equipment, and technology; poultry farming – equipment for poultry farms, a visit to the full-cycle factory - "Ji Ke Da Food".
