Tatarstan Farmers to be Trained in Animal Husbandry and Agricultural Cooperative Development

2 September 2025, Tuesday

On September 30, the "Farmer's School" in the Republic of Tatarstan will begin training in new areas: "Animal Husbandry" and "Agricultural Cooperative Development." This educational program, which aims to provide all the necessary knowledge and competencies for creating and successfully developing an agribusiness, is being implemented by Rosselkhozbank jointly with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan. The training will be held at the Kazan State Agrarian University.

Participants in the project are both individuals planning to engage in agricultural business in rural areas and aspiring or existing farmers. Support for farming is consistent with the goals and objectives of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy."

Over the previous five cohorts, 179 farmers improved their skills by completing theoretical training, studying the legal aspects of farming, financial business models, and marketing fundamentals, learning about the latest agricultural technologies, training at leading industry companies, and developing their own business plans. This year, 35 people are expected to be trained.

To participate, submit an application through Svoye Fermerstvo by September 7, 2025, along with a list of documents, a presentation, and/or a video to sh.fermer_rt@mail.ru. Competition materials will be reviewed by experts. Winners will receive a free 288-hour professional retraining program, "Agribusiness for Farmers," and a diploma of the established standard.
