Kazan is preparing to host the most prestigious horse races in Russia and an international show jumping tournament

On August 30, the Kazan Hippodrome will become the center of spectacular horse races for the Prize of the President of the Russian Federation. This event, which Kazan is hosting for the third time, promises to be an unforgettable holiday for all fans of equestrian sports. The total prize fund of the competition is an impressive 38 million rubles, and 190 of the best horses of riding and trotting breeds from more than 28 regions of Russia will take part.

On this day, guests of the hippodrome can expect a rich program, including 15 exciting races, among which the main ones will be the races for the Prize of the President of the Russian Federation, the Prize of the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Prize of the President of the UAE and the Cup of the First President of the Republic of Tatarstan - Mintimer Shaimiev.

In addition to the sports component, on August 30, the hippodrome will turn into the center of the celebration of the Day of the City of Kazan and the Republic of Tatarstan. Guests will enjoy a vibrant entertainment program, including performances by Tatar pop stars, the State Chamber Choir of the Republic of Tatarstan and, of course, the charismatic host Dmitry Guberniev.

For the youngest visitors, an extensive entertainment program has been prepared with free master classes, a children's area with horse and pony rides, as well as a variety of interactive attractions. Adults will be able to enjoy a fair of national artisans and farm products of the Republic of Tatarstan.

In addition, on August 29-30, the Manege of the Republican Sports School for Equestrian Sports will host an international tournament for the III Rais Prize of the Republic of Tatarstan in show jumping, bringing together 160 horses from 12 regions of Russia and neighboring countries. The total prize fund of the competition will be 6.5 million rubles, and the participants will compete in 11 routes of varying difficulty.

This event corresponds to the goals and objectives of the national project: "Tourism and Hospitality".
