Rustam Minnikhanov and Marat Zyabbarov got acquainted with the progress of the harvesting campaign in the Kamsko-Ustinsky and Tetyushsky municipal districts
Today, the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited a number of municipal districts on a working visit. During the visit, he got acquainted with the progress of the harvesting campaign, inspected the horse farm and the tourist site "Yuryevskaya Cave". He was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov.
The first was the Kamsko-Ustinsky municipal district. Rustam Minnikhanov and Marat Zyabbarov visited the visitor center "Yuryevskaya Cave" here. This tourist site was built in 2023 as part of the program for the development of public spaces in the Republic of Tatarstan, opened in June 2024. At the visitor center, you can book a tour of the caves and adits with a guide, there is a cafe, rental of tourist equipment, and educational lectures for tourists.
Rustam Minnikhanov was introduced to the points of attraction for tourists visiting the Kamsko-Ustinsky district. These are the Yuryevskaya cave, gypsum adits, Mount Lobach, the confluence of the Volga and Kama rivers. Among the tourist services are an eco-hotel, glamping, a fishing base and others.
The Volga Trail, a specially organized circular route for hiking, also passes through here. The project won the competition of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives in 2020. The basic tourist infrastructure was created in 2021-2024 using funds from the Public Spaces Development Program, as well as with the support of private and federal investments. The project is aimed at preserving the ecosystem and creating comfortable conditions for tourism with an emphasis on creating non-capital basic infrastructure, environmental education of visitors and redistribution of flows to tourist sites outside valuable and vulnerable territories. The work is supervised by the Directorate for Natural Territories of the Institute for Urban Development of Tatarstan.
Then a meeting was held with representatives of the district's activists and agricultural producers. The head of the Kamsko-Ustinsky municipal district, Nail Vazykhov, reported on how the harvesting is going in the fields. According to him, the harvesting is proceeding at a good pace, including the harvesting of oilseeds. "Let's hope that the weather will allow us to harvest," he said. "The approximate date is August 25. The work is going smoothly."
Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov reported that 2 million 215 thousand tons of grain have already been threshed in the republic. In general, about 42% of grain areas have already been harvested in the republic, the average yield is 42.5 c/ha.
Marat Zyabbarov noted that grain harvesting is underway in the Kamsko-Ustinsky district, and soil cultivation is also being carried out.
Rais Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that the Kamsko-Ustinsky district has good tourism potential and it is important to develop it. "The district is very advantageously located for the tourism. This must be developed in order to move from wild tourism to the development of civilized tourist routes," he said.
Rustam Minnikhanov recalled that today one of the important tasks is to support the participants of the special military operation and their families. He thanked everyone who provides assistance and support to our soldiers.
During the conversation with the district's activists, Rustam Minnikhanov especially noted: despite the difficult economic situation, all programs related to infrastructure development will be continued in the republic - including the road network, provision of high-quality water, etc. He also emphasized that today the support of the government is the heads of rural settlements, those who work directly with people. "Our support is the heads of settlements," said Rais Tatarstan.
An exhibition of goods from agricultural producers of the district was also organized - products of the "Imperial Nursery" (seedlings of ornamental plants), the agrofirm "August", honey from local beekeepers, the agroholding "Krasny Vostok" and others are presented here.
As part of a working trip to the Kamsko-Ustinsky district, Rustam Minnikhanov and his entourage visited a horse farm - the peasant farm "Nuriev R.F."
Then, on a working visit, Rais Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited Tetyushsky District.
A meeting with machine operators, farm managers, investors and heads of rural settlements was held in a field near the village of Bakrchi. Rustam Minnikhanov and Marat Zyabbarov talked to workers and awarded the leading combine operators of the district who distinguished themselves during the harvest.
Ramis Safiullov spoke in more detail about the progress of the harvesting campaign. To date, farmers have harvested 18.6 thousand hectares (44% of the planned). The yield is 58 c/ha. 120 combines are involved in the fields, 4.5 thousand tons of grain are delivered to the bins daily. In favorable weather conditions, it is planned to complete the harvest by August 30.
Farmers have also already begun sowing winter crops. All farms are provided with seeds, fuel and lubricants, more than 30 sowing complexes have been prepared
